Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful company - avoid avoid.
I have been waiting months and months for my claims to go through. I get told the same thing every time I call and nothing gets processed. If this is not resolved in the next week - I will be taking this to watch dog. I have found many more customers who have the same issue

Purchased insurance with the event
Purchased insurance with the event. Our lovely 7 year old labrador had to be unexpectedly put down, owing to an aggressive tumour on the lung.
Got to the small print, you guessed it, nothing is covered that I can see. Complete con.

Being ignored by Allianz Assistance, and asked to re-send documents multiple times.
I became ill whilst on holiday in April 2022. My wife contacted our insurers Allianz Assistance, and we were authorised to go to hospital as an emergency.
I subsequently travelled home (the next day) to seek treatment for a serious condition.
Since then, for the last 9 months, I have been repeatedly contacting Allianz Assistance asking them to settle the medical bills for my visit to the emergency room at a Florida Hospital.
In addition, I had given a recovery agent authorisation to settle this claim. To date he has contacted Allianz Assistance 14 times - with no response.
I have been repeatedly billed by the Hospital, and now have a debt collection company chasing me for payment. This could adversely affect my credit rating which is another huge concern for me.
I provided all the necessary documentation to Allianz Assist in May 2022, yet they have repeatedly requested the same documentation and failed to contact the hospital for necessary information, or the recovery company to settle my claim.
Their treatment of me is very unfair and causing me extra stress and worry.
I hope other customers of Halifax Bank who provide this travel insurance are forewarned.
Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful company. I made a claim in August 2022 and I'm still waiting to receive payment. I've spent many hours trying to get through. When I do get through, they make promises but I never hear anything more. I have no other option but to try and make a court claim against this company. How can you treat people like this? Why ticketmaster use this company, I do not know?

Just how do you speak to Allianz?? No one answers their phone, kept on hold for nearly an hour on two separate occasions then the call is cut off!!!
Any emails sent to them just get an automatic reply saying we are far too busy to deal with our customers.
Please avoid using this company unless you want to be driven mad listening to their “on hold” Muzak and the promise that your call will be answered, believe me it won’t.

SPAM CALLS EVERYDAY
I am not an Allianz costumer, but I am recieving calls EVERYDAY from a no ID call saying they are from Allianz, even after I told them multiple times I AM NOT INTERESTED! Very Disrespectful

Missed an event due to illness
Missed an event due to illness, doctors note provided and evidence from Ticket Master also provided. This was Sept 22. Claimed made within a few weeks, nothing for 2 months. Logged in and nothing happened. Rang (2 seperate occassions for +1Hrs) got through and their IT system closed our tickets. Got case re-opened and now +8 weeks later nothing nor updates. Maintenance portal down with no ETA on when its due back up. Rang twice (+2HRs before being cut-off). This is a sham company and needs invetigating by traindg standards.

This company is an absolute disgrace and should not be allowed to trade. Paid over £700 for travel insurance and trying to claim for my lost camera.
Emailed them a month ago and no reply.
Tried phoning on 5 occasions and each time I am on hold for 2 hours then the line cuts off.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Seriously needs investigating
Missed an event submitted claim in mid september. Was told in novemeber to expect payment in 5 to 10 working days. Since then my bank have been confirmed no payment has been attempted, despite member sof the company telling me funds were returned. Numerous times being hung up on when i ask to soeak to a supervisor or the finance department. Been asked to confirm my bank details at least 6 times verbally and by email and have been asked to give different bank details now. Over £300 out of pocket. Absolute shocking company. Even told me they didnt have a complaints department at one point, despite me already having spoken to someone in complaints 3 days previous. Ticketmaster really need to stop using them!

Avoid! Ombudsman aware
Missed my flight home due to cruise ship being stuck at port due to severe weather, advised by allianz a ship isn't a form of transport and that all other transport is covered by the policy just not a ship. I reminded them the bus from port to airport is public transport and was also delayed due to 4000 people disembarking. They have just ignored me since. While stranded at sea I called in tears as was afraid and in America alone.... The girl who answered stated she didn't have a clue what was covered and to call if and when I got home and hung up??
This policy was provided by the Bank of Scotland. Ombudsman is well aware of them. My bank agree I am in fact covered but £1000 out of pocket and getting no where. Thank goodness I didn't have my four little ones with me and huaband or we'd have still been stranded!

Allianz, absolute Rubbish insurance experience
I am with others, what a shambles of company to deal with. made a claim on the 31st of September due to illness we could not attend a concert, provided all the information requested, had to keep chasing finally on the 13th December spoke to a lady who closed the file and said the settlement would be with me in 10 days.
Called today 9th January, they now need more evidence that the tickets were not used, and another claim form to complete.
£365 still out of pocket now, Have to get confirmation from Ticketmaster that the tickets were not used.
No stars would be the best option.

claim outstanding 5 month later
Filed a claim for a flight delay in July and it is only for a few hundred pounds but the claim is still outstanding and they don't even reply to emails , not sure why revoult still deal with them. STAY AWAY

If I could give Allianz no stars I would. Just wish I'd read these other reviews before chosing them. They're all similar. What a dreadful insurance company to deal with. I always think the mark of a decent company is where they reply to negative comments - I see none on here. Usual story - been trying to get a claim settled for over 5 months and each reply takes a month and even then they just ask for the same evidence over and over. Allianz - you should be ashamed - letting all these customers down.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Bought tickets and insurance on the 16th July for Abba on the 30th October. Were on the train heading there when there was an incident and all trains suspended. Sent the claim and photo evidence. Got the usual email reply. Waited and waited, eventually phoned and waited over an hour for an answer. It's been ongoing since October. They are now saying they won't be paying as I bought the insurance after the event!!!!!!! Unbelievable. They have the evidence of when the insurance was bought which was exactly the same time as the tickets. Ticketmaster must be getting a nice big whack from them to keep the link going. Can anyone advise what to do next please?
